Police on Wednesday arrested a person Mohammed Ilyas Sharief Asif, 43, who had obtained two passports with different names by presenting fake documents.

The Commissioner’s Task Force (Central) officials caught and handed him over to Banjara Hills police for further investigation. Asif obtained a passport in 1989 in his original name. He attended visa interview at the American Consulate office but could not succeed. Hoping to secure visa by presenting new passports, he obtained two more passports with the help of two agents.

On a tip-off, the TF officials caught him and seized the two passports.
