Man found murdered in Amberpet

The body of an unidentified man with head injuries was found in a bag on the banks of the Musi at Ambedkarnagar in Amberpet on Monday night. Police suspect the man, aged about 60 years, might have been killed elsewhere and his body dumped at the spot.

Train knocks down man crossing tracks

A 35-year-old man died after he was hit by a train near Yakutpura railway station on Monday.

Kacheguda Railway police said Syed Sujjauddin of Edi Bazaar, was crossing the railway tracks when a train hit him. He was shifted to Osmania General Hospital for treatment where he succumbed to injuries, police said.
