Three members of a family were killed and two others were injured when they were struck by lightning at Veltur village in Sadashivapet mandal of Medak district in Telangana.
The victims were working in their field when the mishap occurred.
The deceased were identified as Ch. Dhanaiah (60), K. Malles (37) and Anil Kumar (6).
Ch. Swapna (30) and Chinna (6) were injured in the incident.
