The TV5 Business Leader Awards were given away to 45 persons in different categories here on Saturday at a glittering function. The lifetime awards were bestowed on Ratan Tata (Tata Group) and G.M. Rao (GMR Group). Actor Nagarjuna Akkineni won the ‘Entertainment Leader of the Year’ award. The ‘Rural Entrepreneur of the Year’ award went to K. Srikanth Chowdary of Prakasham Incubation Centre, the ‘Business Woman of the Year’ award to Ch. Sailaja Kiron of Margadarsi Chits and Finance, while G.V. Prasad of Dr. Reddy’s Labs got the ‘Entrepreneur of the Year’ and Rajeev Nannapaneni of Natco Pharma the ‘Innovator of the Year’ award.
