The Hyderabad Metropolitan Development Authority (HMDA) plans to make available hard copies of the Land Use maps as per the city’s Master Plan 2031, from next week.

The HMDA had till now put these on display at its Tarnaka office.

The tenders for printing Land Use maps of the Metropolitan Development Plan-2031 are slated for finalisation on Saturday, officials said.

The plan has Land Use maps of 35 mandals covered under HMDA areas and a few of them have been clubbed together and put into 30 sheets. The mandals clubbed together are Medchal and Qutbullahpur, Moinabad and Rajendranagar, Shankarpally and Ramachandrapuram apart from Ibrahimpatnam and Manchal.

1,000 sets

The HMDA has proposed to come up with 1,000 sets, each set consisting of 30 maps of various sizes.

“The number of sets to be acquired will change according to demand,” an official said.

Once tenders open on Saturday, the selected bidder will have to prepare and start supply of maps from the third day itself.

“We will not wait for the entire bunch of 1,000 sets to be ready. We are insisting on supply of the material in bunches of at least 50 sets at the earliest to make them available for sale,” the official added.
