Minister K.T. Rama Rao here on Friday offered to lead a delegation of representatives from the pharmaceutical companies to the United States to explore expanding their respective businesses there, when he called on US Ambassador to India, Richard Verma, here on Friday. During the interaction, Mr. Rao said Telangana and the U.S. are natural partners in business relations, and pointed out that he had received positive response from American firms to invest in the State when he had toured the country a fortnight ago. The expansion of Google and other top firms in Hyderabad is a good sign of increased investments into the State, he said. The Telangana Government is ready to collaborate with the US administration in fields of IT, life sciences and other key areas, he said, and also referred to the proposal to set up a country desk as well as a T-Hub outpost in the Silicon Valley.

Mr. Verma was also invited to visit the T-Hub and his help was sought to forge partnership with top American universities.
