The Hindu Young World Summer Smart Camp, powered by Camlin mechanical pencils, entered its second day on Tuesday.

The camp is being held at three locations — Saidabad and Vijayanagar Colony branches of VIP’s International School, and Roots Junior College near Katriya Hotel, Somajiguda. On Tuesday, the participants were exposed to different activities from what they did Monday.

While it was a keenly contested quizzing at Saidabad branch of VIP’s International School, children learnt the nitty gritty of robotics at Vijayanagar Colony branch of VIP’s International School, and at Roots Junior College, the children had fun with ‘Stars of Tomorrow’ as they fiddled around and crafted models with newspapers and balloons.

The camp is being held in morning from 9.30 a.m. to 12.30 p.m. for basic-level participants, and from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. for advanced-level participants.

Interested students can take part over the next three days by registering at the venue. All registered participants are entitled to a complimentary six-month subscription of Young World, a robotics kit, and a month-long subscription to Young World Club.

For further assistance, prospective participants can call toll free number 1800 3000 1878.
