BJP State president K. Laxman lambasted the CPI(M) government in Kerala and held it responsible for the recent blast of the RSS office in Kozhikode, and the killing of the Sangh Parivar cadre for the past two years.

Addressing a demonstration organised by the Martyrs Memorial Research Institute in association with Jagrutha Bharat here on Friday, Dr. Laxman accused the CPI(M) regime under Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan of resorting to murder-politics in Kannur, allegedly threatened by BJP making inroads into the State.

During the last four to five months, attacks have increased on cadre belonging to RSS, BJP, BMS and other affiliate organisations, he said, and warned the CPI(M) that they will be wiped out of Kerala too if the same trend continues. He also accused the party of remaining silent on China backing terrorist Masood Azhar in the United Nations.

The demonstrators, mostly from RSS and BJP ranks, demanded that Mr. Vijayan step down from his post, and that President’s Rule be imposed in Kerala to stop the violence.

Those who supported the demonstrators include former DGP Dinesh Reddy, B. Satyanarayana from OU Teachers Association, Colonel Mohan Kumar from Kerala, and A. Narasimha Reddy from the Bar Council of Andhra Pradesh.
