Kent unveils smart RO water purifier

The water purifier-maker Kent RO Systems Limited on Friday unveiled in Hyderabad its new product line that includes a smart RO water purifier, air purifiers and vacuum cleaners.

Describing the Smart RO water purifier as the first such product, director Varun Gupta said it is touch-operated with an inbuilt micro-controller that senses water quality on real-time basis and displays that on the digital screen.

The TDS levels and filter life are displayed. Going forward Kent proposes to introduce wi-fi enabled water purifiers to enable users to assess the water quality through mobile phones.

The plan is to upgrade many of existing range of purifiers to make them internet connected.

The company, he said, had also come out with a water purifier that does not require electricity to operate and removes arsenic from the water. Besides, water purifiers, the company came out with air purifiers for rooms of varying sizes, vacuum cleaners and a cold-pressed juicer.
