For the intensive household survey, GHMC Commissioner Somesh Kumar appealed the citizens to go through the checklist, keep the required documents ready and be prepared to fill the form during the pre-visits scheduled to be held on August 17 and 18, to make the exercise easier on August 19.

Stating that the civic body was making elaborate arrangements for the conduct of ‘Samagrah Kutumba Survey’, the Commissioner said, the related bill receipts could be checked for details regarding water tap connection, property tax detail and electricity .

With regard to caste certificate, birth certificate and physically-challenged certificate, copies of the same could be furnished to the enumerator.

To make the exercise simple, a survey pamphlet and a checklist in three languages would be given to the households, which could be perused on August 17 and 18.

The enumerators would be provided a slip, which they would paste on the door of the house being surveyed and tick accordingly to document their pre-survey visits, he said.

The contact number of the enumerator would also be given to facilitate direct interaction for details and if the enumerator does not turn up on August 17, the household can call on round-the-clock phone No. 21111111 and represent their grievance, Mr. Somesh Kumar added.
