For the first time, the Telangana government has included a chapter on former Hyderabad Mayor K. Krishna Swamy Mudiraj in the Telugu Reader of 10{+t}{+h}class published this year. The chapter presents a brief life sketch of Krishna Swamy, scholar and writer of the famous book Pictorial Hyderabad. In a statement here on Thursday, M. Narsimloo Mudiraj, chairman, Sri Krishna Swamy Mudiraj Memorial Trust, thanked the Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao for the gesture. “The government action is a big encouragement not only to the Mudirajs, but also the entire backward class community,” he remarked, a press release said.
