Nara Lokesh, son of TDP chief, N. Chandra Babu Naidu struck a chord with the people attacking TRS chief K. Chadrasekhara Rao with stinging remarks on his relations with YSR Congress chief Y.S. Jaganmohan Reddy, and accused how they have colluded to serve each other’s interests.

At a road show in ECIL X Roads on Friday evening, Mr. Lokesh said KCR was deliberately targeting the TDP realising that it was a strong party and Mr. Naidu a popular leader among the youth and women. “He doesn’t say anything against Mr. Jagan but ridicules Mr. Babu who created lakhs of jobs in Hyderabad building Cyberabad,” Mr. Lokesh said as the crowds cheered.

He lashed out at the Congress saying that it created a “Fake City” in the name of “Fab City” while Mr. Naidu put Hyderabad on the world map convincing software giants like Microsoft to choose Hyderabad over others. Mr. Naidu created Cyberabad in just nine years while it took 400 years for the establishment of Hyderabad and 100 years for Secunderabad.

He reminded that the slogan of youngsters today was “Jaabu Kaavalante Baabu Raavali” (Babu should come to power for creation of jobs) and TDP will fulfil its promises of creating jobs for the educated youth. He promised delivery of 20 litre mineral water can for Rs. 2 to every household even as reminding that how TDP got Krishna water to city. Dwacra loans would be waived off and women would get mobile phones for their safety.

Mr. Lokesh claimed that despite his grand-father and father working as Chief Ministers, neither he nor his family members faced a single corruption charge. But Mr. Jagan had amassed wealth illegally misusing his father’s position, he charged. He introduced Mr. Ch. Malla Reddy, Malkajgiri Parliamentary constituency candidate from TDP and Mr. NVSS PRabhakar, BJP’s Uppal constituency candidate and requested people to elect them.
