Just-born baby girl found abandoned in Nalgonda district

In a shocking incident, a just-born baby girl was found abandoned In a bush on the outskirts of Parada village, in Kattangur mandal of Nalgonda district.

Authorities have shifted the baby to Bala Sadanand, a care centre for abandoned children.

According to Integrated Child Development Scheme (ICDS) Project Director K. Mothy, some villagers heard the cries of the baby and found it wrapped in clothes among the bushes on Monday morning.

Ms. Mothy said the villagers immediately informed the ICDS staff who rushed to the spot and brought the baby to the Nalgonda government hospital.

She said that after providing proper treatment, the infant would be kept in Bala Sadhan.

Meanwhile, the Police have registered a case. They are inquiring with the locals to trace the abandoned child's parents.
