Jagan allowed to go to Jerusalem

April 16, 2015 12:00 am | Updated 05:41 am IST - Hyderabad:

The CBI court conceded the plea of YSR Congress president Y.S. Jaganmohan Reddy to visit Jerusalem, France and England in June or July for a period of 15 days.

Mr. Jagan had requested the court to release his passport to secure visa but the CBI opposed his petition as the cases against him were at the stage of argument, ahead of framing of charges.

The CBI blamed Mr. Jaganmohan Reddy for trying to drag the case under some pretext or the other.

But the court overlooked the objection and allowed Mr. Jaganmohan Reddy to proceed on the foreign tour after furnishing his phone and fax numbers.
