JAC seeks filling of teacher posts

Telangana Unemployed Students Joint Action Committee (TSVNJAC) Chairman Koturi Manavatha Roy has demanded the State Government to issue DSC notification for filling vacant government teacher posts. He said the JAC had undertaken a massive ‘Padayatra’ from Kakatiya University to Osmania University from Tuesday marking the Teachers’ Day. He said there were nearly 45,000 teacher posts vacant in the State. The DSC notification was not released for the past five years and as a result huge numbers of unemployed youth were under distress.

Many unemployed have even committed suicide unable to bear the stress caused by unemployment and also delay in issuing the DSC notification.

He wanted the government to ensure that the job notification to be issued free from all legal hurdles.

D Ed Students Association state president R Rammohan Reddy, the JAC district chairman A Karthik, Kakatiya University Research Scholars Association (KURSA) M. Sambasiva Rao, Rahul Reddy, S Prashanth, OU NSUI leaders Maskapuram Naresh, the JAC OU chairman B Lachi Reddy its leaders L Srinivas, D. Raju and others were present.
