IT Park, parks, 2BHK for the differently-abled

Minister for Municipal Administration and Urban Development K. T.Rama Rao has announced a customised IT Park for providing employment to the differently-abled, and 3% allocation for them in the one lakh double bedroom houses under construction in Hyderabad.

Besides, barrier-free parks will come up in the limits of all municipal corporations in the State, he announced after inaugurating the ₹1.77 crore customised park for the specially-abled near the flyover of Nalgonda Crossroads, Malakpet, on Friday.

Stating that it is a one-of-its-kind park in the country, Mr. Rama Rao welcomed proposals from other legislators and public representatives for similar parks in their respective constituencies. The IT Park would provide large scale employment to the differently-abled, he said.

Later, he also inaugurated the ₹1.2 crore indoor badminton stadium at Sripuram Colony in Malakpet.
