Women constitute 30 per cent of the total strength of the class of 2015, in the Post Graduate Programme in Management (PGP) offered by the Indian School of Business, the highest ever in the history of ISB, a press release said on Tuesday.
The class has 231 women students among a total of 763. The number of women students has increased by almost 120 per cent in the last seven years, the note claimed.
Of the total students, 553 are from Hyderabad campus, and 210 from Mohali, with average age of 27 years. Average work experience is five years, and students with international work exposure in countries such as Singapore, USA, UK, Hong Kong, Germany, Qatar, Italy, Uzbekistan, Japan, Sri Lanka, Canada and Myanmar made entry into the school, the note said.
The students include those selected under the Young Leaders Programme of ISB, the note said.
