Bloom Energy, the U.S.-based manufacturer of fuel cell technology, has expressed keen interest in setting up a manufacturing plant in Telangana.
K.R. Sridhar, company CEO, promised to send a team to Hyderabad soon to take forward the idea.
Mr. Sridhar gave this assurance to IT Minister K.T. Rama Rao, who is now on a tour of the U.S. Mr. Rao was quite impressed with the innovative fuel cell technology and invited the company to adopt a village in Telangana and power it with Bloom Energy fuel cells.
On the seventh day of his tour, Mr. Rao met the top leadership of prominent IT companies and renowned investors in Silicon Valley.
