Introduction to Kosambi’s work

Noted historian, feminist and civil liberties activist Uma Chakravarti will introduce the book ‘An Introduction to the Study of Indian History’ by Damodar Dharmananda Kosambi on January 26 at Sundaraiah Vignana Kendram in Baghlingampally at 6 p.m. She will also speak on the topic ‘Kosambi’s approach to history’. The meeting will be presided over by Prof.Inukonda Thirumali from Delhi University.

The next day, Prof.Chakravarti will reflect over ‘Interrogating Kosambi’ at the University of Hyderabad. The book to be introduced is in Telugu, and has been published by Hyderabad Book Trust in collaboration with National Translation Mission.
