The results assume significance as they are the first major results to be announced after the formation of Telangana.
The first year results were declared a few days ago and the State recorded four per cent increase in the pass percentage.
Students spent anxious moments before the exam as they were not sure whether it would be combined for both Andhra Pradesh and Telangana as they had written the first year exams in the combined State.
They feared that some legal problems would come up as the marks were to be calculated for ranks in the IIT-JEE and IIT-Advanced.
