The city chapter of TiE (The Indus Entrepreneurs) said it would organise India’s first national crowdfunding conference here on March 21 at the Indian School of Business.
TiE has partnered with Two Corners, Cambridge, a UK-based social enterprise and The Crowdfunding Centre, Sheffield, also a UK-based organisation, for the event. The conference will bring together Indian and international experts to discuss the future of alternate finance and explore the potential of crowdfunding in India.
A news release said the event, titled The Crowdfunding: Deep Impact , will facilit-ate a constructive interaction by members of the industry and also help engage with government and regulators in supporting its adoption and growth. The conference is supported by several grass-roots organisations.
