Illegal structures: police told to assist GHMC

Justice Praveen Kumar of Hyderabad High Court on Tuesday directed the police to assist GHMC to remove illegal construction on a road area of Friends Colony, Shahnawaz Khan layout, Moosarambagh.

The judge was passing these orders in a writ petition filed by Yadamma. She said that the GHMC removed the illegal structures on June 16. She complained that from 17 June the encroachers put up a cross and occupied the road area. The judge was told by GHMC that these are illegal structures and the police are not giving aid and they are ready to demolish. The judge directed the police to give support for the removal of illegal structures forth with.
