Justice Praveen Kumar of Hyderabad High Court on Tuesday directed the police to assist GHMC to remove illegal construction on a road area of Friends Colony, Shahnawaz Khan layout, Moosarambagh.
The judge was passing these orders in a writ petition filed by Yadamma. She said that the GHMC removed the illegal structures on June 16. She complained that from 17 June the encroachers put up a cross and occupied the road area. The judge was told by GHMC that these are illegal structures and the police are not giving aid and they are ready to demolish.
