April 07, 2015 12:00 am | Updated 05:43 am IST - HYDERABAD:

IIIT-Hyderabad has announced summer programmes for schoolchildren to inculcate the process of computational thinking at an early age and the programmes are intended for students from classes 5 to 10.

The programmes are based on the premise that whatever career the student chooses to pursue later in life, computational thinking will be an essential element.

The curriculum will help build logic, problem-solving and analytical skills through theoretical as well as hands-on sessions.

The last date for application to the programme is April 15.

More information can be had on http://www.iiit.ac.in/step or over phone number 040-66531354, according to a press release issued here on Monday.
