The Hayathnagar police have launched a manhunt to nab three persons who attacked a woman’s house after a complaint of sexual harassment was lodged against them.

According to the police, three youngsters, Raju, Srikanth and Santosh, of Mudiraj colony in Hayathnagar, reportedly passed some comments while the woman, who works in a beauty parlour, was returning home on Wednesday night.

The woman complained about it to her family members after which her brother approached the youth and asked them to stop harassing his sister.

Pelt stones

“Angered over this, Raju, Srikanth and Santosh beat up the man. Later, after coming to know that the family members had approached the police and complained against them the trio pelted stones on their house damaging the door and window panes,” Hayathnagar SI R Srinivas Reddy said.

On receipt of information the Hayathnagar police rushed to the spot and a police picket was posted at the victim’s house.
