Household survey on August 19

: The Telangana Government has decided to conduct the day-long Intensive Household Survey-2014 on August 19 across the State. The decision was taken at a state-level orientation meeting on the exercise held here on Friday.

Further, the government has sanctioned Rs. 2 crore each to 10 districts for carrying out the exercise. Training of the staff for conducting the survey will be held at all revenue divisional headquarters on August 11. About 84 lakh households are likely to enumerated in one day as part of the survey.

The government has also decided to celebrate Telangana ideologue Prof. K. Jayashankar’ birth anniversary falling on August 6 as an official function.
