Shalini Mishra is new HMDA Commissioner

April 23, 2015 03:39 pm | Updated 03:39 pm IST - HYDERABAD:

Shalini Mishra, who has been appointed as Commissioner of Hyderabad Metropolitan Development Authority (HMDA), took charge here on Thursday. The posting came in the wake of Chief Minister K. Chadrasekhara Rao looking at a complete revamp of the urban planning body amid mounting criticisms of its functioning particularly in the last few months.

The new Commissioner is expected to present a blue print suggesting a complete overhaul of the crisis-ridden HMDA in a fortnight’s time.
