Hit by MMTS train, woman, girl child die

A woman in her early 20s and a one-year-old girl child died after an MMTS train hit them near Dabeerpura railway station on Wednesday afternoon. Identities of the both the victims are not yet known. The train going from Lingampally to Falaknuma hit the victims around 3 p.m., the Kachiguda Railway police Inspector, Venkatagiri, told reporters.

The bodies were hurled 30 feet away. "It looks like the woman stood on the railway track carrying the child in her arms. We're trying to confirm what had happened," the Inspectors said after examining the scene.
