The Division Bench of the High Court at Hyderabad comprising acting Chief Justice D.B. Bhosale and Justice A. V. Sesha Sai on Thursday granted permission to the authorities to fill the posts of Assistant Executive Engineers in all four power corporations of Telangana State except 22 posts .
The Bench was dealing with a batch of cases filed by Challa Narasimha Reddy and 21others challenging the amendments made by TS Genco, TS Transco, TSSPDCL and TSNPDCL to the recruitment rules. These enable only such candidates who had lived in Telangana since primary schooling days to get employment in TS Genco, TS Transco, TSSPDCL and TSNPDCL. On an earlier occasion stay on recruitment was granted.
