Keeping the official protocol aside, Irrigation Minister T. Harish Rao visited the district headquarters town on Royal Enfield motor cycle on Sunday and examined the arrangements for Haritha Haram programme that would commence next week and other development works.
He started his visit early in the morning which continued for about two hours.
After examining the plantation of trees along Hyderabad road, he has visited ‘My town’ LED screen and instructed Municipal Commissioner Ramachary to increase its size.
The Irrigation Minister also examined the ongoing Rythu Bazaar works and interacted with people inquiring about development activities that are taking place in the town.
The Irrigation Minister was accompanied by Municipal Chairman K. Rajanarsu and others.
