Industries Minister K.T. Rama Rao celebrated his 41st birthday today; receiving saplings from a number of political leaders who called on him to offer their greetings at the Chief Minister’s camp office.
Governor E.S.L. Narasimhan sent him a birthday card and a sapling. It was KTR’s call to well wishers to plant trees on his birthday that made it a ‘green birthday’ for him. TRS activists at several places took up tree plantation, cut cakes and organised blood donation camps. A special pooja was held at Bhadrakali temple in Warangal where children at the Vedic school also planted trees on the premises.
There were greetings galore for him on Twitter from persons in film, politics, industry and sports. It included film personalities Samanta, Rakulpreet Singh, Lavanya Tripathi, Devisriprasad, Akkineni Akhil, Manchu Vishnu and Vennela Kishore. Tennis star Sania Mirza, silver medalist in Olympics P.V. Sindhu, Andhra Pradesh Minister Nara Lokesh and Irrigation Minister T. Harish Rao also tweeted their greetings.
