Godavari water for Hyderabad

The scheme, taken up at an estimated expenditure of Rs. 3,375 crore to bring Godavari water to the State capital through Yellampalli project and solve its shortage problem permanently, will be completed by December-end, Chief Minister N. Kiran Kumar Reddy announced here on Wednesday. Speaking at the Independence Day celebrations here, he put the total revised cost of the Outer Ring Road (158 km) at Rs. 6,800 crore.
