GHMC vehicles fitted with HD cameras to monitor services

April 21, 2015 12:00 am | Updated 05:36 am IST - HYDERABAD:

The GHMC has decided to implement an advanced citizen grievance redressal system as part of which 12 monitoring vehicles mounted with high definition cameras would be deployed to move around the city and document the status of amenities. As part of the concept, the civic body is planning to have these vehicles with HD cameras that provide 360 degree panoramic view, covering around 2,000 linear km. of the city twice daily, according to a press release. A mini-command centre with a task force would be set up to monitor the live and recorded footage from the vehicles and initiate action where required. - Special Correspondent
