The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) has cautioned the general public against purchasing property or taking development of the land in survey number 78 of Gokul plots, Hafeezpet village at Serilingampally mandal as it was government land according to revenue records.

In a press release on Monday, the Commissioner said that most of the occupiers not having any title over the plots yet had constructed buildings unauthorisedly without obtaining any permission from the GHMC.

Demolitions

Although the civic body was regularly demolishing illegal constructions by issuing required notices to them, the unauthorised structures continue to be built.

Directive

The Commissioner stated that letters have been addressed to respective departments i.e. APTransco and HMWSSB not to provide any service connection to the occupiers until the occupancy certificate was obtained by the owner from the GHMC.
