GHMC begins search for autos for lifting garbage

The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) has started identifying 2,000 autos to be given to the unemployed youth for lifting garbage as announced by the Chief Minister, K. Chandrasekhar Rao, during the Swachh Telangana – Swachh Hyderabad campaign.

These will be deployed within a span of two months throughout the city, said GHMC Commissioner Somesh Kumar, after interacting with some of the major motor auto companies, who had displayed their respective products at the head office on Saturday.
