Singer Ghazal Srinvas was granted bail by a local court here on Wednesday. He was arrested on charges of sexual assault earlier this month.
A co-worker had alleged that Srinivas had behaved inappropriately, and allegedly caught his actions on tape.
The singer’s personal secretary was also booked for allegedly forcing the complainant to submit to the singer.
The Nampally Criminal Court granted Srinivas conditional bail and directed him to appear before the Punjagutta Police twice a week.
The singer told press persons upon his release from Chanchalguda Prison that he is innocent.
