GGK Tech to double headcount this year

To employ a total of 2,000 persons

Hyderabad-based software developer GGK Technologies that has offices in the U.S., the U.K., Europe and Australia besides in India, will raise its headcount from over 900 now to 4,000-odd by 2020 as part of its business expansion.

By the end of this year, it will employ a total of 2,000 persons, founder and CTO Shyam Palreddy told a press meet here on Wednesday to announce the setting up of 1,000-seater facility by the company at NSL Arena SEZ, Uppal here.

The 63,000 sq. ft. space, to enable GGK to address the needs of its growing client base globally and their requirement of cutting edge technology services, is scheduled to be inaugurated by IT Minister K.T. Rama Rao on May 12.

At present, the GGK has offices at Gachibowli and Jubilee Hills in the city, he said, adding the company also has plans to move into its own campus in Hyderabad.

The GGK Technologies, with revenues of around $50 million, is in the business of IT services for 13 years and its solutions and services span Custom Application Development in new and emerging technologies, advanced analytics, artificial intelligence, robotic process automation, Cloud and Internet of Things, said Mr. Reddy.

The 1,000-odd candidates that it intends to recruit this year would be across all levels and functions. “The GGK Technologies, which hires from the IITs, NITs, BITs, IIMs and other premium campuses, is all set to double its campus numbers this year to achieve our targets,” he said.
