Garbage bin right beside school

May 23, 2014 11:12 pm | Updated 11:12 pm IST - HYDERABAD:

There is a garbage bin beside Keyes High School campus, which has around 2,000 students. The place stinks and cattle settle near the bin, making movement of people and traffic difficult. There are also tea stalls on the pavement and vagabonds sit there, creating nuisance for girl students. I request GHMC authorities to kindly look into the matter.

Effluents at Anand Bagh

For the last one year, residents of Anand Bagh and its surrounding colonies in Safilguda are bearing the stench from effluents released by companies. There are complaints of breathing and eye problems due to this. This is a very serious threat to the colony. Pollution Control Board (PCB) officials do not even bother to act whenever complaints are lodged. The residents request the PCB officials to check for air pollution, and take action against companies letting out the waste.
