Three bike-borne persons have kidnapped a four-year-old boy while he was playing before his house at Qajipura in Shahalibanda of Old City on Monday morning.
The boy, Norullah, is son of a businessman, Hamid Khan. Within an hour of abduction, the kidnappers rang up Khan demanding ransom. Even as the police traced the call to a public telephone booth in Kishanbagh of Bahadurpura, they made the second one from Rajendranagar area.
Police parties were fanned out to all routes to intercept the abductors.
