Four students – Sumalatha, Siddartha, Saikumar and Jagan Mohan – added another feather to the TSWREIS’s cap by getting selected for the prestigious Kennedy-Lugar Youth Exchange Program, USA. These students would spend a year in the USA and pursue community vocational studies under the programme.

Also for the first time in the history of Telangana Social Welfare Residential Educational Institutions Society, four students - Vamsi, Mallesh, Vishwanath and Sachin - were selected for the Indian Navy school, Mumbai, through a national-level competition. The Indian Navy would provide free education to these children at its prestigious school and they would be absorbed into the Indian Navy service after the completion of the schooling.

TSWREIS Secretary R.S. Praveen Kumar congratulated the students for their remarkable feat and expressed happiness over children joining the Indian Navy and making it to the prestigious USA colleges, a press release said.
