Four persons, including a student, committed suicide by hanging themselves in different incidents in the last 24 hours.

Student Santosh Rathod (18) of Banjara Colony in Serilingampally hung himself to death at his house on Friday night. Police said Rathod might have ended his life after members of his family admonished him.

J. Chandu (24), a labourer from Bandlaguda in Rajendranagar, hanged himself at his house on Friday night. Police are investigating the reasons behind his extreme step. At Nagole, lorry driver D. Ramkoti (28) resorted to the extreme action following family problems, police said. However, family members alleged that Ramkoti was strangulated by relatives of his wife.

Housewife G. Lakshmi (55) hung herself at her house in Kakapather on Friday. The police are investigating the reasons behind her suicide.

Daily wager ends life

A daily wager ended his life suspecting his wife’s fidelity at Shivrampally on Friday. Ramakrishna, who married Lakshmi two years ago, had been frustrated over his wife’s constant cell phone talk, police said. He picked up an argument with his wife on the issue and in a fit of rage, left the house. His body was later found on the railway tracks between Shivrampally and Falaknuma stations on Friday.

Fatal fall for student

A 23-year-old student died after falling from a two-wheeler at Miyapur on Saturday. B. Sainath Reddy of Madinaguda fell when his vehicle skidded. He sustained serious injuries and was rushed to a hospital where he was declared brought dead.
