Four persons commit suicide in city

Four persons ended their lives in separate incidents in the city.

S. Ashok Babu, 35, a private schoolteacher hanged himself to death at his house in Saroornagar on Thursday, the police said. The family members of the deceased informed the police that the man was depressed over not finding a suitable alliance.

At Asifnagar, Sri Ramulu, (38) an auto driver reportedly died of burns sustained in his immolation bid on Wednesday. The police said that he ended his life over some family issue.

In Raidurgam, a 36-year-old mason P. Krishna from Gachibowli hanged himself to death at his house on Wednesday evening, the police said.

The reasons behind his suicide are being ascertained.

In another incident at Rajendranagar, Mohd. Ghouse Khan, (30), a cook, who attempted self-immolation on Tuesday died on Thursday while undergoing treatment.

The police said that the deceased resorted to the extreme step after having a quarrel with his family members.
