Former MIM MLA dead

Former MIM MLA Md. Muqtada Khan, popularly known as Afsar Khan, passed away in the city on Friday.

The 66-year-old former MLA, who represented Karwan constituency in the united AP Assembly, was suffering from diabetes-related ailment and died of multi-organ failure in a private hospital. A number of MIM leaders, including party president Asaduddin Owaisi and legislators, Deputy CM Md. Mahamood Ali and others, paid their last respects to the leader. In a condolence message, Telangana Chief Minister expressed grief over the death of former MLA.
