Flights diverted due to dense fog

November 11, 2014 10:32 pm | Updated 10:32 pm IST - HYDERABAD:

A dense fog cover over Hyderabad caused three flights to divert their scheduled landing at the RGI Airport in the early hours of Tuesday. The three flights departed from Abu Dhabi, Muscat and Sharjah and were scheduled to land at Shamshabad airport at around 4 a.m. However, due to poor visibility, all the three flights were diverted to Bengaluru International Airport. The flights landed in Hyderabad between 6.30 a.m. and 8 a.m. after the weather improved.
