Facebook deletes objectionable photo, content

Facebook has deleted certain objectionable content posted on one of its pages on Friday, after the Hyderabad police officers sent a request for it.

The police also registered a case against unidentified persons for posting a morphed image and making objectionable comments too.

A case under provisions of Section 66 (A) of IT Act-2008 and 153(A) IPC was registered by the CCS. The officials then made a request to the Facebook to delete the objectionable page. Efforts were being made to determine the IP address to locate the person who uploaded the contents.
