Chief Secretary S.P. Singh has instructed the departments that are yet to achieve cent percent compliance with the parameters under the ‘ease of doing business’ to put in extra efforts for expediting the process. The departments concerned should put in place online systems required in this direction. The Chief Secretary conducted a review meeting with the heads of departments on the compliance achieved in the EODB. He was informed that of the 372 recommendations of the business reform action plan, the State had achieved 95% compliance much ahead of the deadline set for the process. He expressed satisfaction over the progress of the work and appreciated the departments for putting in efforts to ensure that the initiatives proposed by the Centre were implemented in letter and spirit.

Officials concerned assured the Chief Secretary of they being committed to completing the compliance process within a week, according to an official release.
