The institution of Lok Ayukta on Thursday directed the authorities of Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (JNTU) here to submit a report on March 1 on the alleged denial of provisional pass certificates and marks memos to some students who pursued MBA and B.Tech courses from the university.

In their complaint sent to the institution through fax, some students alleged that they had completed the courses and passed their respective examinations held in August 2012. However, they were not issued the provisional pass certificates and marks memos even seven months after the examinations.

The students said that they were losing employment opportunities due to the negligence of the university authorities and urged the institution to do justice. In response, Lok Ayukta Justice B. Subhashan Reddy directed the university authorities to submit a report by fax on the contention of the students.
