April 23, 2013 11:53 pm | Updated November 16, 2021 10:08 pm IST - HYDERABAD:

The city police are suspecting the role of a hardware engineer in the kidnap of a housewife and her two children from Syndicate Bank Colony in Old Bowenpally on Monday. Unidentified persons kidnapped Kusum (25) and her two children -- Bhagavath and Bhagavati, both aged about two years.

“We are collecting more details about the engineer Piyush as he and Kusum worked together in a private firm earlier. We will be able to trace the kidnappers by Wednesday,” a police official said. Some persons known to Kusum might be involved in the abduction as the family had not received any ransom call till now. A police team also went to Nanded to trace the kidnappers.
