S.R. Jhansi, 17, a first year engineering student, was crushed under the wheels of a bus near FCI godowns at Annojiguda in Ghatkesar on the city outskirts on Tuesday.
A student of Sreenidhi Engineering College, she was retuning home from college when she accidentally slipped from the footboard of the bus and came under its rear wheels, the police said.
Death was instant for her. She was a resident of Saraswathinagar in L.B. Nagar and hailed from Nalgonda.
