Eight-year-old boy ‘commits' suicide

An eight-year-old boy, who reportedly had some mental disorder, committed suicide by hanging in his house the previous day at Allwyn colony, the Kukatpally police said on Tuesday.

The body of Dinesh was found hanging to the ceiling fan, the Inspector, K. Srinivasa Rao, said. The boy's father, who runs a roadside tea-stall, told the police that Dinesh was alone when he committed suicide.

Student ends life

A student of Government Degree College in Chintalbasthi of Khairatabad, Krishnamurthy, 19, ended his life by hanging in his house at local Mahabharatnagar two days ago, the Saifabad police said on Tuesday. No suicide note was found, the Saifabad Sub-Inspector, Vijay, said.

The victim, along with his parents, went to a temple in Muthkuru village of Nalgonda district on May 11, but returned to city without informing them. He couldn't be reached on his mobile phone. His parents returned home on Monday midnight. They broke open the door which was bolted from inside and found his body hanging to the ceiling fan.

Businessman run over by RTC bus

A businessman, Seetaram Choudhary, 45, was crushed to death under the wheels of an APSRTC bus at Amberpet on Tuesday. The victim was going to Uppal for collection of money on his bike when the Uppal depot bus rammed into him from behind. He came under front wheel of the bus and died.

The victim hails from Rajasthan and is a resident of Zambagh.

Student drowns in well

A student, K. Vinod Reddy, drowned in a well after entering it to play with his friends who were swimming at Charlapally in Kushaiguda police station area on Tuesday. The 14-year-old appeared for eighth standard exam. He didn't know swimming, the Inspector, V. Srikanth Goud, said.
