Eflu students plan protests

May 12, 2014 12:48 am | Updated 12:48 am IST - HYDERABAD:

Under the banner of “Students’ Forum for Justice”, a mass gathering is being organised on May 12 on Eflu campus to protest against the recent rustication of three students of the university for a period of two years.

Some of the students have alleged that the university had punished the students - Mohan Dharavath, Satish Nainala and Subhash Kumar - without any enquiry.

The protesting students have said that they are being forced to organise the “Chalo Eflu” programme since their attempts to initiate a dialogue with the university Vice-Chancellor had failed.

It was further informed that students and faculty from various State and Central universities will join the protest.
